Royal Pines Golf Resort

Royal Pines stayed nice and dry for our first game of 2023!   Whilst it looked a little overcast that’s as threatening as it got.   The course was in wonderful condition and our event ran like clockwork thanks once again to Carmen and her team.   The new location for lunch was a nice change and the buffet was up to it’s usual high standard.  

Michael Harrison and Michael Cox from Down Syndrome Queensland were our special guests for lunch and spoke about the work they do and how our donation helps.    It was lovely to catch up with young Michael’s news and he charmed us all with his sincerity in thanking us.

This year our donation cheque was $13,000!!!  

This is extraordinary as we raised this sum from only four events - through the raffle, 100 boards, cash donations and fun game addons like hand grenades and it’s official…. Lady Grady members LOVE Hand Grenades!!

So, a huge thank you once again for your generosity!
