It was great to see the rain however we saw a bit too much of it at our first Lady Grady Event for 2020!

The day was cancelled due to severe weather conditions and everyone got very wet! The pro shop did a roaring trade with ladies taking advantage of the 20% discount on offer to purchase dry clothing! Tees Restaurant looked more like a poolside with ladies gratefully using the blue and white beach towels provided.

In spite of the conditions the morale was amazing! Royal Pines hustled to serve lunch 2hrs earlier then scheduled and all agreed it was delicious!

Darryl Steff & Michael Cox from Down Syndrome Queensland were our special guests and received our $10,000 donation cheque. These funds were raised from our 4 events last year so quite an achievement! Thank you again for your amazing generosity!

Darryl spoke to us about where our donation $$$ are used and Michael shared with us his career & sporting highlights and aspirations. He's quite a character and a delightful young man.

Our rescheduled event is on March 30th at Royal Pines.
