Lakelands Golf Club

Lakelands was in stunning condition for our first event of 2022! Thankfully the rain held off until we were all inside enjoying our delicious lunch.

Darryl Steff, CEO of Down Syndrome Qld, joined us for lunch along with Michael Cox also from DSQ. Their address was both informative and entertaining. We learnt about the challenges Down Syndrome Queensland face and the ways in which our donations help. Michael delighted us with his positive attitude to life and his expressed gratitude to Lady Grady members who he thought were very kind! He wished there were more people in the world who were as nice!

Lady Grady again proudly donated $10,000 to Down Syndrome Queensland.

This is made possible due to the generosity of our members who enthusiastically support our Golf Events, donate prizes for the raffles, make cash donations towards prizes and just donate cash.
